JOB DESCRIPTION
1.Plan, implement and manage daily operations
2.Prepare menus
3.Suggest new menu items
4.Understand visitors’ preferences and make suggestions based on findings
5.Prepare a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread
6.Decorate pastries using different icings, toppings so that they are appealing to the eye
7.Monitor supplies and ingredients necessary for daily operations
Check quality of material and condition of equipment
8.Train, guide and motivate pastry assistants
9.Identify staffing needs and help recruit and train personnel
10.Maintain a clean cooking station
11.Adhere to health and safety standards
12.Keep abreast with the latest food and industry trends
JHS,SHS,DIPLOMA,HND,OR A CERTIFICATE IN CATERING IS REQUIRED
